The Elizabeth Kostova Foundation for Creative Writing, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, owns and operates this website under the domain: https://www.contemporarybulgarianwriters.com.

The website is a literary platform which presents up-to-date profiles of living Bulgarian writers of fiction and short stories. It aims at facilitating the access of the English speaking audience to the contemporary Bulgarian literature. Created in public interest, its mission is to be a crossing-point of the contemporary Bulgarian literature and the English speaking world.
