Contest for Translation and Publication in the US

The winning titles of the 2011 annual novel contest for writers of the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation, organized jointly with Open Letter Books, US, are: Angel Igov’s A Short Tale of Shame and Zachary Karabashliev’s 18% Gray. The translator of these two submissions is Angela Rodel. Both novels have been selected for publication. Those of the contest winners and runners up, who are not  featured at Contemporary Bulgarian Writers, will be soon presented on the website.
