The winning titles of the 2011 annual novel contest for writers of the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation [1], organized jointly with Open Letter Books [2], US, are: Angel Igov [3]’s A Short Tale of Shame [4] and Zachary Karabashliev [5]’s 18% Gray [6]. The translator of these two submissions is Angela Rodel [7]. Both novels have been selected for publication. Those of the contest winners and runners up, who are not  featured at Contemporary Bulgarian Writers [8], will be soon presented on the website. The runners up list of this year’s contest is posted here. [9]
