On Wednesday, October 24, Dalkey Archive Press held a celebration at Columbia University in honor of the Best European Fiction 2013 anthology, prefaced by John Banville. The series’ editor is Aleksandar Hemon. Bulgaria is represented in the book by Rumen Balabanov. His short story The Ragiad is translated into English by Christopher Buxton.
